The International 180-185 Club provides an open Email List Service for casual discussion among members and friends and to provide a method by which anyone interested can ask questions and share their knowledge. You do not need to be a Club member to subscribe, but all posts MUST pertain to aviation in general. Anything else is prohibited. Failure to comply with this can result in your being banned from the list.

In order to subscribe to the International 180-185 Club Email List Service ("discussion"), send an e-mail containing the one word "subscribe" (without the quotes) in the SUBJECT LINE to discussion <at> skywagons <dot> org and you will receive an automated confirmation e-mail. SPELLING COUNTS!

The confirmation e-mail should arrive within a minute. If not, then your e-mail system is blocking messages. See the BLOCKED E-MAIL suggestions.

The confirmation e-mail will look like this, except your e-mail address and a different confirmation code will be used:

Subscription to this list (discussion@skywagons.org) requires confirmation. This is to ensure that your request is intentional and authentic. To confirm your subscription you must reply to this message. When you reply, you should ensure that you use the same sender address as that used to submit your subscription request. i.e. (yourname@yourisp.xxx). The reference code for your subscription follows (please do not edit): Code:[Q09MLkRVTkNBTkBBUklaT05BV0lOR0NBRi5PUkc=] Action:[Confirmation] List:[discussion]

...so just follow the instructions -- i.e. just hit REPLY and send it back. You will then receive another automated response, welcoming you to the list. It appears as:

MailEnable: You have been added to the list (discussion@skywagons.org). To unsubscribe to this list, please send a message back to the list with 'unsubscribe' as the subject.

Once you have successfully subscribed, anything you send to discussion <at> skywagons <dot> org will be received by all subscribers - including yourself. The Club Email List Service is closed to non-subscribers to reduce the possibility of receiving non-solicited mail. When you receive messages posted to the Club Email List Service, clicking your e-mail program "REPLY" button will send a reply to the sender only. If you want to let all other subscribers see your reply, then use "REPLY ALL" - but be sure to remove the sender's address from the "TO:" line so he does not receive two copies!.

You may unsubscribe to the Club Email List Service at any time, by sending an e-mail containing the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the Subject Line to discussion <at> skywagons <dot> org and you will receive an automated acknowledgement.
