I don’t see any way to install a stock 35 series battery box on the firewall, it’s just too big.
 
The box I have was removed from behind the baggage compartment. I have heard that there is a way of installing it on the firewall.
 

There is information about a firewall mount in the Club Membership Resources document library. Just go have a look!
